This page describes cookies used on eretheld.com. For ERETH ELD's full cookie policy including the fleet portal, visit eretheld.com/cookies.html.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — and help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.
2. Cookies We Use
We use two categories of cookies on eretheld.com: essential cookies required for the site to function, and analytics cookies that help us understand usage patterns.
| Cookie Name | Category | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
connect.sid |
Essential | ERETH ELD | Maintains your authenticated session in the ERETH fleet portal. Required for login to function. | Session (expires on browser close or 24h inactivity) |

_ga_Q5MZ42JW99 |
Analytics | Google Analytics 4 (G-Q5MZ42JW99) | Maintains session state for GA4 analytics measurement. | 2 years |
_gid |

3. Cross-Domain Tracking
We use Google Analytics 4 with cross-domain linking between eretheld.com, eretheld.com, and eretheld.com/admin-panel. This allows us to understand the full user journey across our websites as a single session, rather than treating each domain visit separately. No personal data is shared between domains through this process — only anonymous analytics identifiers.
4. What We Do NOT Use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No social media tracking pixels
- No third-party marketing or data broker cookies
- No fingerprinting or device-tracking technologies beyond standard analytics
5. Google Analytics and Your Data
Google Analytics 4 collects anonymized information about how visitors use our website. This includes pages viewed, session duration, browser type, and geographic region (country/city level). IP addresses are anonymized. Data is processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies (such as session cookies) will prevent you from logging in to the fleet portal. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect core functionality.
Most browsers allow you to:
